Gertrude’s Saddle February 23, 2016

Posted by Stripey Steve in Uncategorized.

One of my top three day hikes in New Zealand has been Gertrude’s Saddle.

We hiked for a few hours along a valley, and then we started  ascending a series of rivers and waterfalls. As we got hotter and sweatier, I looked for a decent sized pool of water to take a dip.

Can you spot me looking for a swim?
